About
This is the bog site of the research group Education and Social Justice, and is a space to consider different opinions and faciltate discusion on topics we care with a non-aggressive, developmental ethos. The research group defines education broadly to include informal and incidental learning, capacity building and agency through community organising and knowledge creation and translation as well as the more traditionally considered avenues of schooling. We are interested in how education, when done well, can contribute to social justice conceived as recognition, representation and redistribution, and how education can also act as a barrier to this. The information and views set out in the posts on this blog are those of the author(s) and do not necessarily reflect the official opinion of the Education and Social Justice Research groups or their affiliates.
